Training ranges from our 5 day CBT Toolkit course to enhance employees' client-facing skill set to full qualification as a Therapist.

Our courses are SCQF accredited and can play a vital part of an organisation's Continued Professional Development programme.

Employee Assistance Programmes

Current EAPs : South Lanarkshire Council

The Centre of Therapy offers an Employee Assistance Programme to organisations wishing to provide quality Therapeutic services to their employees. We provide a Cognitive Behavioural Approach to Therapy, which aims to effect positive change by addressing the clients, thoughts, feelings and actions.

This approach is popular with health professionals and organisations for its relatively short treatment time (usually 6-8 sessions) and its effectiveness in dealing with stress and anxiety.

We have a bank of over 30 Therapists, each specialising in areas such as Stress, Anxiety, Anger Management, Abuse and other issues.

We ensure that a Client is matched with the appropriate Therapist, according to his or her personal preferences.

The service is very simple for employees to access. Information about the Service and the process specific to your organisation will be available online via an EAP section within the Centre of Therapy website. Materials will be also be provided to the Organisation with contacts details as agreed.

Sessions are held at the Centre of Therapy. Our Counselling Rooms provide a safe and friendly environment removed from the workplace in which clients can feel relaxed.

EAP - Employment Assistance Programme

The Centre of Therapy provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to employees of South Lanarkshire Council.

Treatment is free to all employees and comprises 6 - 8 sessions.
