Gain a professionally recognised qualification in counselling skills.

This training will be delivered by a qualified and experienced COSCA Accredited Trainer/Therapist who will bring personal knowledge and experience to the learning. This particular course will be completed in 4 months and will provide participants with knowledge and practice of fundamental generic counselling competencies to enable participants to move on to further study working towards a career as a Therapist. It is also a valuable course in its own right which gives participants an opportunity for self-exploration, self-awareness and self-development as well as improving communication and listening skills. 

About the Course

The COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills course consists of 4 modules and is delivered on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

The cost per module is £300. Payment can be made in full by bank transfer, prior to the start of each module.

Participants can qualify for £402 towards funding through the SAAS Part Time Fee Grant, if they book all 4 modules together.

The course is COSCA validated and has been levelled at SCQF credit level 8. On successful completion of the course, you will receive your Certificate with SCQF award and COSCA registration.
