COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills

Take the first steps to becoming a counsellor.
The COSCA Certificate in Counselling course is taught over a series of four modules. Each module is 30 hours.
Learn life-changing skills by combining active listening with empathy in ‘skills practice’ training groups.
The COSCA Certificate in Counselling allows entry to either Level 10 CBT Diploma or Level 11 Post Graduate CBT Diploma which provide full vocational training as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.

COSCA Counselling enables successful candidates to enrol for vocational training as cognitive behavioural therapists at Honours Degree or Post-Graduate Diploma level. The course also teaches transferable counselling skills that are useful for general professional development and for personal growth.
The cost per module is £350. Full Course £1400
Participants can qualify for £402 towards funding through the SAAS Part Time Fee Grant.
On completion of the course, you will receive the COSCA Certificate in Counselling (SCQF Level 8) and official COSCA registration.
