Course Duration

42 hours tutor delivery over 3 weekends delivered monthly, followed by 3 monthly tutor facilitated supervision groups of 1 hour duration. Total time given for completion is 6 months. 100% attendance is required to complete this course.

This course trains therapists to become supervisors.

You will develop the skills necessary to practise as both an individual and group supervisor in the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy. The integrative content of the course will be useful to applicants interested in beginning their journey as a supervisor of any modality or to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of those already in supervision practice.

This training is devised to appeal to therapists who are new to the field of supervision practice and to those who already have experience as supervisors.

On successful completion of the supervision course you will be awarded a Certificate from COSCA to recognize your achievement.

The Supervision course will provide participants with sufficient training hours to meet the Supervisor accreditation requirements.

To apply, counsellors and/or psychotherapists require to have two years of post-qualification experience.
